For our 100th Birthday,
we're giving YOU a gift!
We will replace your old library card with a new card and keychain tag.  Starting May 1st, we will provide this service when you bring in your old card.


Your library card is good at all libraries in the Southwest Wisconsin Library System except Fennimore.  It gives you access to the online catalog for renewing and reserving materials, as well as to Overdrive, the site for free downloadable ebooks, audiobooks, music and video

A new walking tour
of downtown Prairie du Chien
Up One Side and Down the Other by Mary Ann Stemper  is now available.   It gives you the history of many of the buildings on both sides of Blackhawk Avenue; learn while you walk!  Download it to your computer or check out a copy from the Library.
